HaZiQ aLi - ‘Live Larger’

Admittedly, I knew nothing about this wordsmith.  But I must have been the only one because I havent stopped hearing about Haziq Ali since seeing his name among the other artists who submitted their music for the blog.  After listening to his music, I clearly understood what all the fuss is about.  His brand of ‘U-Can-Do-It’ music is catchy, relevant, and definitely empowering it, proving that rapper is more than one dimensional.

D.C. bred, Haziq made his radio debut with an independent single titled ‘Unforgettable’ as a student at Florida A&M University.  In 2009, he dropped his first album Busine$$ Is Good, and the attention from blogs and fellow artists have NOT been hard to come by.  

The most recent buzz is centered around his mtvU video debut for ‘Freedom/Hustla’ and his nomination for Best Freshman Video.  This video gives you two sides of Haziq: his chill, sentimental, ladies man flow and his raw, real, no-holds flow.  If youve been looking for a well-rounded artists (really, thats the only artists we feature!), check out Haziq Ali.
